Shield Technologies estimates gas savings within minutes
Welding fabricators are being run out of argon placing them under major strain to produce. Our Shielding Gas Economiser is providing substantial savings wherever they are being installed and the motor industry is no exception. To date more than 4000 of these devices have been installed giving savings of as much as 80%
All we require from fabricators is their current gas and wire consumption data, number of machines and wire feed speeds and within minutes can calculate the savings and payback period,says Holt.
At one of South Africa's largest auto manufacturers the savings will amount to almost R3 million rand per annum with a payback period inside of 9 months. This is no mean feat and testament to the performance and superior technology offer by the company.
